Give Glory To God

When is the last time you've prayed, asking God for something? I don't know about you but I am always praying and asking God for something. From, "please watch over my friend to please heal so and so," the requests are endless. I have asked him for help so many times and it was when I have needed him the most.

He comes through, every single time.

I have heard so many other people doing the same that I've concluded that we ask God for so many things. Only He has the power to hear so many voices in so many places at the same time. And, in truly Divine fashion, only He has the power to fulfill so many requests.

I have also noticed that God is there for me when I don't ask for His help. He's carried me through so many times, good and bad. He opens doors of opportunity for me and closes them to protect me. He's there for me all the time! That's why I feel God loves me. Does He love you too? Do you feel his love?

I give Him thanks every day for so many things. He is always on my mind. That's why I think it's important to glorify him and all that he is. Even if you're unsure about your relationship with God, I would bet that if you showed Him some love He would reciprocate.

1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV - Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Praise him and all he is. God the Divine Creator gave you life and life is precious. Therefore you too, are, precious.

God is Love. Love Him as He Loves you.

I wrote a letter expressing my gratitude for the Father. The purpose of this letter is to express outwardly and publicly my sincere affection for Him. He already knows what it says because He is the only other one who intimately knows my thoughts and what I hold in my heart. Despite that, I believe that actions speak louder than words and the act of writing a letter speaks volumes.

This is my letter to God, glorifying Him as He is and only He can be.

Dear Lord,

I know you hear me always. Hear me now. You created everything. You created me and gave me life. You are the Living God and your love is known to me. Thank you for bestowing upon me these gifts. Thank you for showing me your world and for sharing it with me.

Your love for me is truly appreciated. I want to bask in your eternal goodness and I want to follow in your light. Thank you for guiding me each day and for showing me the path of the righteous. Thank you for sending your Son, Jesus to this realm. His teachings and His examples live inside me today. I am forever grateful for his sacrifice.

I give thanks to you, oh Lord, that you have given me reassurance and comfort in the revelation you have provided. I give thee, oh Lord, gratitude for the discernment you have given to me. You have shown me how to be humble. You have shown me how to be meek. You have taught me how to be patient. You have taught me how to be kind. You have shown me such living kindness throughout my life. I love you, oh Lord, as you, love me.

I dedicate myself to good in your name and I dedicate myself to all that is righteous. I have all that I need in you, my Lord. There is nothing I shall want or desire, for you, oh Lord, are with me and as long as you are with me, there is nothing I require.

I want to dwell in your house for eternity. For that is the place where every need will be met with your Love. At this time, I ask you, Father, for nothing. I just want you to know how much I appreciate and love you. You have shown me so much Love and that is why I write to you now. I will honor you by keeping your commandments. I simply want to thank you.

All my gratitude is yours.

Isaiah 60:1 KJV - Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

I John 5:2 KJV“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.”

I would encourage all who are reading this to honor God. Know that He is always watching over. Even if in your daily life you fall short of the example exhibited by Jesus, feel assured by the knowledge that He loves you. He wants you to be happy and you can share this happiness with Him simply by acknowledging Him and all he’s done.
